Let’s pray today for the youth in our churches and families, that they will run wholeheartedly after the Lord and impact others around them for the Kingdom.
Lord, we ask You for our young people. Don’t let the enemy lead them astray, but guard them zealously as Your own. Awaken them to see Your love and grace, so they will lay down their selfish desires and follow You all the days of their lives. Show them Your special purposes for their lives, and give them courage to run in Your paths. Ground them deep in faith, and fill them with a hunger for Your Word and a fervency to obey. When they call to You, answer them in powerful, even miraculous ways. Leave them in such awe of You their greatest desire is to see You at work in their lives and the lives of those around them. Give them the mind of Christ, so they will see and understand each situation and person through Your eyes, making wise decisions through the power of Your Spirit. Help them distinguish truth from lies and guard them by Your mighty hand from every demonic scheme. Set them free from depression, anxiety, lust, pornography, rejection, low self-image, addictions and anything else they battle. Fill them instead with love, joy, peace and all the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23. Bring to them godly relationships who will challenge them to run all the harder after You, and raise up from among our Christian youth leaders who will help others into Your arms. Keep their eyes and bodies and ears and minds and hearts pure. Bring to them godly spouses who will love You with all their hearts; and give them courage, patience, faith and hope as they wait for the one You have for them.
