Prayer for Awakening and Protection

A prayer from Matthew 19:26 for an outpouring of God’s love, truth and grace:

Lord, it feels like these past three years have seen such an increase of enemy activity. Or maybe what Satan’s doing has just been more visible or apparent. But God, we ask You now for Your angel armies to flood my city, our country, and the world. Take up residence in our homes. Flood every room and our hearts so full of Your presence and Your glory that whenever anyone enters our home or comes near us, they step into You and are overwhelmed by Your love and grace. Overrun the enemy. Protect the innocent. Crush every demonic scheme. Watch over the children, their dreams, their interactions at school and on the internet and with others who seek to do them harm. Guard their hearts as precious gardens where only Your Truth is planted and allowed to grow, and every choking lie-weed seed is destroyed before landing or taking root. Raise up an army of prayer warriors, God worshippers, Jesus lovers in this generation, Lord, who will sweep across the nation and the world with Your Good News, calling all peoples unto Yourself, rescuing the lambs from the wolves, and showing love in such loud ways, millions are drawn to Your light like moths to a flame. Open up the way for freedom and a Great Awakening such as never before. In Your name we pray. Amen.
