Miracle in Gaza: Hundreds Meet Jesus in Dreams

Since the war between Israel and Hamas began on October 7, we have been praying here at the Prayer Wall for God to open the way for Christians to bring aid to Gazans and share the good news with them. We have also asked Jesus to show up in Muslims’ dreams and lead them to His Truth. He is answering both of these requests:

God is working in the midst of war! This news coming out of Palestine from underground Christian ministries:

“Over the past two days, we have ministered to hundreds of fathers who have lost most, if not all, of their children in the war. As we moved these men to safety, we fed them, washed their clothes, and began to read the Bible to them — sharing the way of peace through Jesus. Then, a big miracle happened. Last night, Jesus appeared to more than 200 of them in their dreams! They have come back to us to learn more from God’s Word and are asking how to follow Jesus.”

Gaza is 99% unreached. Let’s continue to pray for all the more to know the Truth before it’s too late. Around 2,700 people have gone missing, and an estimated more than 14,000 Palestinians have died without ever hearing the good news about Christ.

Lord, we praise You for Your relentless pursuit of these 200. Please grow them deep in their newfound faith and use them in mighty ways to share Your love with all the more Muslims. As great as the people of Gaza’s need is for shelter, food and water, they need You most of all. Please give them a hunger for You so strong they will seek You with all their hearts and find You. Draw the lost into places where Christians are ministering, and make the way for every person to hear Your good news in a way they can easily understand. Thank You for pursuing Muslims in their dreams and drawing them to Yourself. Grip their hearts with the conviction that this is Truth. Give them courage to step away from tradition and choose Christ. Open their eyes to see the atrocities of religion gone wrong and long to know the God who is Love. Bring about a mighty church planting movement that spreads all throughout Gaza and beyond. May thousands come to faith and passionately tell the stories of Your goodness to Muslims all across the Middle East. Protect these new believers and all Christians in Gaza from persecution and harm. If Hamas or other extremists lift a hand against them, freeze that hand, Lord. If they point a gun, make it misfire backward. Foil every plan of those bent on evil. Open their eyes to see Your angels guarding Your beloved ones. Surround believers as a Shield, making terrorists tremble in fear of the Lord, drop their weapons of hatred and warfare, and fall to their knees to surrender to You alone as Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
