Pray for God’s Mercy on Maui

At least 67 people have lost their lives in wildfires raging across the island of Maui since Tuesday.

Lord, please have mercy on those suffering right now across Maui. Bring forth rain and an end to the fires. Rescue those who are trapped. Heal those who are wounded. Comfort those who mourn. Protect firefighters and others rescuing those in danger, and give them wisdom in all situations. Please rebuild the whole island of Maui into a community on fire for You. Grow Christians deeper in their faith and draw the lost into Your church. Give to firefighters and others a deep hunger to know You personally. Bring Christians to them to answer their questions, counsel them through any trauma they have faced, and provide them with Bibles. Lead them to just the passages in Scripture they need to feel You drawing them to Yourself. And save them from eternal fire, Lord. May they join Your Kingdom, enjoy Your abundant love here on Earth and live with You in Heaven for all eternity.
