Due to current unrest, let’s lift up Israel, which is 97% unreached with the Gospel.
Abba, please bring Your people back home to You. Cover this land beneath Your sheltering wings and call out to every heart. Remind them that You are their Home, not a place. That You are the Sovereign One, not a person in power. That Your laws are perfect, not an earthly judicial system. And that only those who place their faith in Christ are truly free. Meet every Jew as they read the Torah, as they pray to You, as they cry out for the safety and future of their children, and in their dreams as they sleep. Restrain wrong and bring forth right. Settle every anxious heart as they pray, and point the way to salvation. When anyone cries out to You, O God, answer them. Perform signs and wonders to show who You are. Give every person a holy visitation in such a way that they know You are the One they’ve been looking for. Place Christians and seekers together in the midst of scoffers and hardened hearts to get conversations going about You and soften them to Truth. Tell the stories of Your salvation over and over, so Old Testament prophesies make sense only in the light of Christ. Open the eyes of the blind to see You as You truly are. Demonstrate Your love and grace in such powerful ways no one can deny the Gospel. Invade rabbis’ sleep with dreams of You, and their waking hours with visions of Christ. Give every person in this region such a hunger for You they will seek You with all their heart and find You. Make Your Good News so clear, hatred will topple under the devastating blows of love and grace. Fill every Christian with such peace and joy amidst so much uncertainty and unrest that those who have stood against You will yield to the draw of Your lovingkindness, repent, and surrender to You. We cry out to You for peace, Lord, not only in this earthly location, but in the hearts of every man, woman and child. Awaken all of Israel to Your truth and love. May the people of whom You have said “not My people” once again be called by Your name and known as Your own. Romans 9.
