As I asked the Lord today what He wanted to say to His body, this is what He led me to share*:
I’m here with you. I know this life has been hard. I know what your past has held and how many questions you have asked about why it had to happen. And I want to say to you, My beloved, that yes, I have overcome that, too, when I overcame this world. I did not place you here to be comfortable and to have a better life than someone else, but to know Me, to love Me, to feel My great love for you, and to love others through My love. If I was beaten, ridiculed, and My blood poured out, why would you expect special treatment? I have already told you the world will hate you. Matthew 10:22, 24:9. They also hate their own. And themselves. Those who violate and mistreat others do not know the depths of My love. They have not yet experienced its power nor known the sweet life-giving flow of My Living Water cleansing them from within. They need Me. Those who did those things to you need Me. Even those who say they know Me but I know them not as My own, they need Me. Rise up, My beloved, and shine. Forgive. For you are not so innocent yourself, and yet I have forgiven you. Completely. I have washed every shameful memory clean with My loving grace, and you are forgiven. So forgive. Release your persecutors unto Me and LIVE. You have but one life here on Earth. Spend it in My arms. Not in self-pity. Not in bitterness. Not in “why”s. But in Love. Doused, completely immersed, in the fullness of My overcoming. For in this life, you will have trouble. But fear not. I have overcome the world. John 16:33. And I have overcome you, too. You are Mine, beloved. Now, walk in My love.
