Awaken us to You, O God. Get up in our face. Invade our space. Demand our attention. Distract us with Your love. Lift the veil from our eyes and show us who You truly are. Knock down our idols. Set us free from our sin. Heal our minds and hearts. Transform us by Your love and grace. Perform such mighty, love-filled miracles we cannot deny You are who You say You are. Be so loud and beautiful, we will stop our evil deeds and remember what we were created for — to know You, receive Your great love, love You back, and love others through the power of Your love.
Grab hold of every leader’s heart, O God. Break them from the chains that bind them to enemy purposes. Remove from office those bent on evil agendas that oppress. Raise up in their place those who seek wrong to be suppressed and right to be upheld, who will open doors for God to bless. Silence the mouths of liars and expose greed and corruption. Shut down media sources that block the truth and perpetuate false information and evil agendas. Renew a fear of the Lord that will replace the fear of standing up for what is right. Unlock the mouths of those who speak truth and give them favor with those who hear. Restore integrity to leadership and news sources.
Protect from harm those who are tasked with keeping our citizens safe. Guard their marriages and families. Heal their hearts and minds from the evil they have witnessed. Remove from their numbers those who are corrupt, prejudiced or abusive, and add to their numbers those who serve, protect and do what is good and right. Bring to light the evidence they need to arrest violent or abusive offenders. Stop the violence, please merciful God. Protect the innocent, especially children. Block those bent on abuse and murder. Stand in front of them, miraculously rescuing those they intend to harm. Break down evildoers’ computers and devices. Jam up their guns so they malfunction and do not shoot. Trap and expose offenders with solid evidence for authorities to convict them. Heal their minds from the dark thoughts the enemy has planted there. Meet them in their dreams. Invade their thoughts, turning them from wrong to right, from darkness to Light. Knock down their lies with Your truth and set them free to clearly and coherently recognize their need for You. Grip their hearts with such fear of the Lord, they drop to their knees in repentance and surrender, and are transformed by Your love and salvation.
Rise up, O God of the Miracles, and bring forth a great revival, turning millions from darkness to Your glorious light. In the precious name of Christ. Amen.
