Lord, please fill our homes with Your presence and Your love. Set us free from the sins and wrong thought processes that make it difficult for our children to see You as You truly are. Empower us with Your love, embolden us with Your grace, and teach us to forgive. Give us wisdom in every situation to treat our children as You would treat them, to see them through Your eyes and speak into their hearts and minds Your words of love. Let them see their worth, and know how very precious they are to You. As the world presses in on our children, shouting at them with so many voices to say they don’t measure up or that they’re someone they’re not, let them hear loudly and clearly, Father, that You love them, You see them, You’re always with them, even when they can’t see You or feel You. Grow them in intimacy with You. Teach them to rely on Your leading for their every decision. May they fall in love with You, O God, and may You be their First Love all the rest of their lives, forever and always. And may You be ours.
