Urgent Prayer Request for a Brother in Africa

We just received word yesterday from brothers and sisters in East Africa that a Christian convert from another religion was beaten by extremists and has sustained head injuries. A warrior from another tribe who works as a security guard rescued him and is now hiding him.

  • Pray God will spare his life, heal him and get him to a safe place where he can receive the care he needs.
  • Pray for protection over his family. At least one close family member is also a Christian and goes to a house church only blocks away from where he was attacked.
  • Pray for his attackers that God will invade their dreams and give them visions to tell them who He really is. Pray they will be struck with fear of the Lord, repent and choose salvation.

Pray for Christians in Africa who face severe persecution for their faith. Pray God will rescue them, heal them, protect them, and give them grace to forgive. Pray they will stand strong in the Lord and in His mighty power, and fight the good fight faithfully to the end, loving those who do evil against them and proclaiming the Good News about Christ.
