The Lord asked me to share this and also Hebrews 12 with you today from a dream He gave me last year:
A new storm is coming, the likes of which you cannot prepare for unless you stay close to Me. Even now, it pushes against the wall, bulging and pressing, but the fortifications I have set in place through the prayers of My people will hold. This storm will not break through where it pushes now, but will move on. Eventually, it will find breaches where I will allow it to trickle through and infiltrate the land. But build your home with the people who are close to Me, who live with their focus on things above, and what is overtaking those who live for earthly things will not touch you.
Come. It’s time to go now. To leave behind what has felt comfortable. There are things that seem important now that will be of no use where I am taking you. Do not fret over those small things that have become such a big part of your present life. They are broken already, for they are of this world and will not help you avoid the storm.
Prepare. Get ready. I will show you how. Don’t try to take everything you normally carry. The earthly knowledge you have gained will not be of use where we are going and will only weigh you down on the journey. All you need is Me. Stay close to Me and I will take you where you need to be and keep you safe.
Others who are close to you will come with us, too. They will know to stay close to Me and follow My lead because you have shown them the way.
But still others will choose to stay behind, closing their doors on My invitation because it’s not where they wanted to go. They will try to ride out the storm with the comforts that are familiar to them. But do not worry for them, beloved, for I will make sure none of My people are left behind. Prepare as best you can, getting things in place for them. Everything you do to help them follow Me matters, even if it seems they’re not listening.
But when I say, ‘Come,’ come with Me and do not worry about those who stay behind. For when the time is right, I will step into their darkness, stand in front of their TVs and whatever other comforts distract them from what matters. I will make sure they see Me, take My hand, and get out of there before it’s too late. I will show them how to ride above the storm with Me, the warmth of My light on their face, and they will see the layout of the destruction below and gladly go with Me. Where I am taking them may not be where they thought they wanted to go, but it will be better. Freer. Beautiful. A place of rest. In this place, whatever you need, although you do not know where or how to get it, I do and I will supply it for you, if you stay close to Me. For I am your Safe Place, your Sun, your Shield, your Shelter, your Provider, you Comfort. I am all that you need.
Look to Me constantly, for I am your Way through this. The storm will not touch you when you are with Me.

This is fantastic! I love this word. Thank you for sharing it. The Lord also showed me in dreams (2019) 2 different events that would bring trials over the world. One was def the COVID situation and the next is major shortages in food, supplies and $ but somehow I had enough and was even able to offer help to those in need. In both situations He was with our family. Yes, these times def call us to be vigilant and to prepare our souls for the real valuable things (that matter). God bless you sister in the Lord. So glad to have crossed paths.

It is so consistent with God’s character in the Word to prepare us for what is yet to come. Even though we can’t see how it will all play out, He knows. I love how He gives us instructions for how to ride through the storm in His arms and pull others up into His embrace, as well. Thank you for sharing, Lavinia! I love how He spoke to you, so now that we are walking through the present trials, you don’t need to fear but can trust in the Sovereign, All-Powerful One who has a plan and knows exactly where He’s taking you.
