What Would It Take to Be Free?

A prayer from Philippians 4:4-9:

Lord, set me free from my anxious thoughts. Give me courage to say “No!” to the enemy when he tries to get me to believe his lies. Remind me of Your truth and give me courage to walk out in it. Give me such a hunger for freedom I will do what it takes to seek You and get there. I want to rejoice in You always. To treat others with such gentleness they can see You in me. O Lord, be near to me. Take away my anxious thoughts. Teach me to hand them to You. To pray in every situation, thanking You and trusting in Your answer, so Your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard my heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Train me, Lord, to fix my thoughts on whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable, and all that is excellent or praiseworthy. For YOU are these things, Lord. When I fix my thoughts on Truth Himself and worship You, I put into practice what You show me, and You, O God of Peace, are with me.
