Have these past couple of years been hard for you? Are you finding yourself in the midst of trials you can’t see an end to? Please don’t lose hope. For our hope is not in everything turning out the way we want. Our hope is in the LORD. Today, the Lord asked me to share with you this word from His heart:
My beloved, I did not set you up for a fall. I set you up for something far greater than any happenstance can offer. Those things happened not because I am against you, but because your enemy is. I am FOR you. All are born to the battle, and your fight is no more or less severe than someone else’s. For the fight is not for all to go well for you, but for you to KNOW Me, truly know Me. Without trials, there is no faith. And without faith, there is no hope. And without hope, there is no love. Those difficult things that happen to you the enemy wants to use for your discouragement, anger, apathy. He is the one setting you up for a fall. But nothing he does can be done without My allowing it. For I am still Sovereign. And if I allow it, then it is because I am doing something far greater. Right now, you might not see how what the enemy means for evil will turn out for great good. Romans 8:28. And if you do not lean on Me through this trial, you may never see it. But even if you can’t see what I’m doing right now (and I am always doing many things in each trial), KNOW THIS: Whatever else I am also doing, I am ALWAYS drawing you closer to Myself. So, step into My open arms. Let Me pick you up and carry you over this … to Myself. Exodus 19:4.
