Hope for Yemen

Yemen is 99.7% Muslim and considered one of the top most dangerous countries in the world for seekers and followers of Jesus. As intense as persecution of Christians has been, nearly a decade of violent, hate-filled war between Muslims themselves has led many Yemenis to question their beliefs, seek Truth and find Jesus.

God of Love, we thank You for those who have found You in the midst of such tragedy. Seeing how Islamic extremism has raped and killed tens of thousands of children and destroyed nearly every life in the whole country with hunger and terror, so many Yemenis have chosen to follow the God of Love instead. Increase the hunger in every heart. Build Your church. Awaken the nation to You. Give Christians courage to share Your Good News with their neighbors and family. Guard every gathering of believers and keep them from harm. Bring persecutors to their knees before You in repentance. And end this war, O God, with such a great turning of people to faith in Christ that hatred will have no more room because Love will reign.
