Here at the Prayer Wall, we’ve shared several stories about Muslims in closed countries who have found Jesus. Let’s continue praying for their protection, as they face persecution and even death for their faith.
O Lord, thank You for those in Muslim countries who have chosen to follow You. Be a Shield around them and their families. Fight for them. May everyone who seeks his their lives see the angels guarding them, fall to their knees in fear of the Lord, and surrender to You. Haunt relentlessly every one of their persecutors in their dreams, overwhelming them with repulsion for their sin. Break the chains that have bound them to satan’s evil purposes and lift the veil from their eyes so they can see You as You truly are. Show them You alone are the Way, the Truth and the Life. Convict them so strongly that what they have believed is a lie that they all turn to You as one, followed by the whole village and even beyond. Only You can see what these precious Christians are struggling through right now. Please touch them in just the way they need and draw them all the closer to You. Give them faith to move mountains and boldness to remain faithful to the end. Let them see You in their dreams and feel Your comfort near. Topple any lies the enemy has been telling them to overwhelm them with fear; and build them back up with truth, love and faith. Remind them that You, too, endured severe persecution at the hands of evil men. Build their faith, deepen their love, and meet them like only You can. Bring from out of these terrible difficulties great good. Don’t let the enemy win. In so many Muslim areas, followers of Islam see the constant hatred and violence within their religion, and it drives them to seek Christ, to know the God of Love. Use believers to speak such forgiveness and love that thousands will come to faith. Let them see the miracle You have done in their hearts and be convinced that You alone are God. Because no other god loves or forgives like this. Awaken every heart to You. In Your name, Jesus. Amen.
