Missionary Pilot Imprisoned in Mozambique
Let’s pray also for those mourning the loss of loved ones and property in the recent earthquake in northern California.
For many people each of us know, this will be the first Christmas without a treasured loved one. Lord, we ask You now for those who have lost loved ones and are missing them so deeply this Christmas. Hold them close to Your heart. Fill their empty spaces with Your felt presence, and surprise them in special, deeply personal ways like only You can. Comfort them with Your love, draw them up into Your arms, and give them a safe place to breathe. Build their faith, give them hope, fill them with peace, renew their joy, and remind them of how very deeply they are cherished and loved. In Your name. Amen.
