Unleashing Truth

These days, it feels like our freedoms are slipping away. Those who speak truth or stand up for certain rights can find themselves persecuted severely, even placed in jail. However, the problems we are facing, as earthly as they feel, are spiritual. As much as those who persecute feel like the enemy, they are not. We know who our enemy truly is.

For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.

Ephesians 6:12 HCSB

Lord, we ask You, please, to have mercy on those in our country who suffer from persecution, while true criminals go free. Please rise up and fight for them and have mercy on them. Reveal every false accusation for what it is and set them free. For those who have lost jobs or who are in jail, please, Lord, comfort them, supply all their needs, protect them from harm, and make a way for their freedom and for them to work again. Expose EVERY (even earthly) LIE, and make TRUTH PREVAIL, exploding from out of the cages where it’s been confined, until every last person KNOWS it. We pray that You whose name is the Truth, the Way, and the Life will ride in and rescue those who are being beaten down, that Your armies will prevail against the darkness, and those who mean evil will fall; while those who mean good will rise up, pick up Your standard, and win this battle. That every person on both sides will hunger for You, believe, and be saved. That You will bring forth a Great Awakening in this nation and all throughout the world, and that what the enemy meant for evil will turn out to be a door opened cataclysmically wide to the Light, so that evil is brought down and millions are saved.
