We have received an urgent prayer request from Africa to pray for two Arab women and a son who just accepted the Lord. Praise God for these new lives, but they are in danger from an abusive husband, steeped in witchcraft, who now wants to sacrifice the son.
Lord, we ask You, please, to protect these new believers. Be a Shield around them, blocking every evil attack. Please surround them with Your presence and let them feel You near. Comfort them and cast out fear with Your perfect love. Place Your angels in the way so the husband cannot harm them, and let him see those angels with his own eyes, so that he trembles in fear and falls to his knees in repentance and fear of the Lord. Provide a way of escape, and get the Christians to safety. Heal their wounds but especially their hearts and minds from the trauma they have experienced. Quiet them with Your love and give them peace. Whatever demonic influences are driving the husband to thoughts of murder and abuse, break those chains now, please, God. Set him free. Pull the plaster off his eyes so he will see You as You truly are and surrender to You. Break off every curse, tear down every idol, destroy every altar, and crush the enemy who has crushed him. Bring whole villages to You because of what You will do in his heart. We ask You, please, Father, to have mercy on him and show him Your love and truth before it is too late. Call him out of darkness and into Your glorious light to become the man he was created to be. Give his family courage and wisdom and anointing by Your Spirit to speak the truth with a demonstration of Your love so he cannot turn away, but turns instead to You. Build up these new believers in their faith and in knowledge of Your Word. Empower them by Your Spirit to overcome the evil one who rages against them. Ephesians 6:10-12. We speak LIFE over them now in the name of Jesus. Life over the son who faces death by sacrifice. Life over the mother who faces death at the hand of violence. New Life over the father who is bent on violence, murder and witchcraft. If there are witchdoctors or others with demonic influences involved, destroy their every effort to communicate with spirits. Give them such a hunger and thirst for You, they burn all their fetishes and destroy all their altars to worship only You, the One and Only God of All. Bring about a great awakening to You in every heart involved, in the surrounding neighborhoods, among the Arabs of this nation and all throughout Africa and beyond. In Your name. Amen.
