Terror in Somalia

Muslim al-Shabab militants stormed a hotel in Mogadishu this weekend, trapping civilians during a 30-hour battle that killed at least 21 and injured more than 100. Somali forces rescued many who were trapped, including women and children, praise God. But everyone caught up in the violence and terror of this nearly 100% Muslim country needs Christ. Somalia is the third most dangerous country in the world for Christians and those who desire to know about Jesus.

Lord, please comfort those who mourn and heal those who are wounded. Do it in a way that they will know it is You. Meet them in their dreams. Lead them to Christian websites. Have mercy, please, Lord, and end the violence. Nearly every person in that a country has been cut off from the good news. Don’t let even one more die without the chance to know of Your great love….
