A ceasefire agreed upon by warring parties in Yemen April 2 and renewed June 2 was renewed once again August 2.
Although several offensive actions have taken place over the last four months, for the most part Yemenis have had a much-needed respite from the eight-year-long war that has killed tens of thousands of children, displaced more than four million people, and plunged much of the country into starvation.
Lord, we thank You for this answer to prayer. Please have mercy on the people of Yemen. Provide for their needs like only You can, and awaken every heart to You. Make a way for every person to hear Your good news in their heart language, choose You, and finally know true freedom….
