Remember Whose You Are

No matter what is happening right now that feels out of control, it is not. For those of us who have been adopted into the Kingdom of God, the ALMIGHTY is our Sovereign. HE is the One in control. Not the enemy. Not a man. Not a government system. We have been placed for a time in this world where we face many trials, and that which is yet to come is no exception. Do not panic. Do not allow the enemy to reign in your mind. But have the mind of Christ. For HE is the One you belong to. HE is your King. And He promises to carry you through. People and governments will fail you, but HE never will. So, fix your eyes on what is eternal, and let Him carry you. Exodus 19:4.

Lord, these days, as the future feels so uncertain, remind us we have a Protector and Guide, a King Who loves us and Whose plans for us are good. Jeremiah 29:11-13. No matter what we face, You are with us, and the abundant life that is ours in You trumps the enemy’s plans every time. John 10:10. Your arms, O God, are more than strong enough to carry us through and bring us out to the other side of this as more than conquerors through Your love. Romans 8:28-39.

Give us a hunger for You so strong, we will lay down all our fear, anxiety, addictions and idols to worship only You. Set us free from every stronghold so we can walk out in the fullness of Your calling on our lives and be a part of what You’re doing in the world, not agreeing with the darkness, but overcoming it with Your light in us.
