Isaiah 51:6
Today, let’s pray for our neighbors, our leaders, and our loved ones who don’t know Christ. Feel free to use specific names as you pray….
Lord, we ask You, please, to lift the veil from their eyes so they can see You as You truly are. Give them a hunger for You, O God. You know what consumes their thoughts and what lies the enemy has fed them to convince them not to choose You. Tear down every one of those lies with Your truth. Pull out from under them whatever they are trusting in that is not You. Pursue them with Your relentless love, speaking to them at every turn and showing them their need for You, until they finally surrender. Meet them in their dreams, talk to them throughout the day. Tear down every barrier that stands in the way, and set them free from the chains that bind them to Satan’s purposes for their lives. Open up the way for them to hear Your Good News in such a way that they fully understand and give their lives to You. When they cry out to You, O Lord, answer them. Come quickly to their rescue, and save them. Change their lives so dramatically that everyone around them will take note and long for You, as well. Use me in their lives any way You desire to point them to You and help them into Your loving arms. Lord, do not delay. Let this be the year they come face to face with Your majesty and choose You as Savior and Lord.
