As the battle rages in the courts and throughout the USA for life and freedom….
Lord, we pray for every person caught up in this fight who does not yet personally know the One who gave them life. Give them a hunger for You so deep, they will seek You with all their hearts and find You. Lift the veil from their eyes so they will see You as You truly are. Give them dreams and visions of You holding lives in Your hands and calling each one precious, no matter how tiny or grown. At every turn, show them You alone are the answer to their troubles, that only You are truly and completely for them, and only Your plans are perfect and right. That only You can satisfy their deepest longings, and only in receiving Your forgiveness and love will they find the freedom they seek. Bring to them Christians who clearly display the love, peace and joy they long for, and through their abundant lives, show those who haven’t yet experienced the One whose name is Life that Your arms are more than strong enough to carry them, even in the darkest of troubles; that they need not end their own lives or another, for You are the God who turns ashes into beauty, mourning into joy, and what the enemy meant for evil into exquisitely radiant good.
Please be a Shield around justices, churches or others in danger. Protect them from evil attacks. Demonstrate Your love, peace and grace to those bent on opposition or violence. Lift the cloud of darkness from over those who press for death, and invade their minds and hearts with Your light, as You show them the only path to abundant life. John 10:10. Demolish every lie with Truth, and break the chains that bind them to enemy purposes. Set them free to know, love and serve You, O God of Life.
Fight for the lives of the innocent, Father. Turn every mind in Your direction, and those making decisions to choose the outcome You desire. May Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in this and all decisions, O Sovereign, Almighty One. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
