30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening
Bible Reading: John 10:10
Heavenly Father, please guard the hearts of youth all across the world. Give them wisdom and courage to back away from trouble and temptation, to run to You rather than give in. For those trapped in difficult relationships, forced to do what they should not, show them the way out, O God. Give them courage to say no to gangs, drugs, alcohol, fornication, abuse, violence, pornography and other addictions. Even from childhood, keep their eyes, minds, hearts and bodies from evil. Be a Shield around the children, covering them all throughout their lives. Show them Your faithfulness, so they will also be faithful to their wives and husbands long before they are ever married. Give teens and singles courage to wait. To seek You first of all, and remain pure, holding onto You to fulfill their every desire for love as they wait for the godly person You have prepared for them to marry. When faced with temptation, avert their eyes, Lord, and open wide their way of escape. For those in abusive situations at home, step in and be Father to them. Speak to them tenderly, heal their hearts, set them free from their prisons and save them. Bring Christians with a passion for You into their lives to show them the love, peace and joy only found in You.
Give lost singles and couples such a hunger for You they will seek You with all their hearts and find You. Guide them into churches, place Bibles in their hands, and draw their eyes to just the passages You want to speak powerfully through. Steal into their hearts and prepare them as fertile ground so that when the seeds of Your Word fall there, the roots will grow deep and sprout unto salvation, turning them into strong, fruit-bearing trees. Divinely bring strong Christians together to marry and raise families filled with love, joy and peace, walking in oneness together with You and with each other. Set us free from pride and every stronghold, and equip us with the steps and the courage to walk in freedom and oneness daily.
Raise up a mighty army of Christ-followers, history-makers who will touch billions of lives with Your love. Draw us into churches with sound doctrine and fervent love, and equip us to be missionaries, pastors, leaders, disciples, worshippers, and more for Your glory; but also move us out into the everyday workforce, effecting change in all levels of society.
Outfit Christian singles and couples with the full armor of God, so we will stand strong in Your mighty power. Equip us with salvation, righteousness, truth, faith, Your Word, Your Spirit, and the Gospel, so we will overcome the enemy and bring forth Your purposes. Ephesians 6:10-18. Empower us like never before, O God, to love our spouses, families, friends, neighbors, the lost, and even those who stand against us, shining Your light so brightly the darkness quivers and runs. Break us free from our strongholds, sins and wrong mindsets. Crush every lie with Your truth. Teach us to listen to Your voice, follow Your lead, and walk out in the Word and in Love, speaking and doing all that You are. John 5:19. Anoint us with all the gifts of Your Spirit to proclaim Your love to the nations. Flow through us so abundantly, those who are broken and dry will be swept up into the River of Life, made whole by Your unending love and grace. May we be bold witnesses for You, not afraid of what man will do unto us, but surrendering completely to You to go wherever You lead us and step up into the divine purposes You created us for. Don’t let the enemy distract us with the matters of this world. But You be our constant distraction, our One Desire, the only One we worship. Topple our idols, Lord, and awaken us to You.

Parallel Prayer: Our 30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening coincides with Ramadan. April 2-May 1, Muslims throughout the world are fasting and seeking God right now. Let’s pray they find Him!
Lord, we pray for Muslim single women, that You will guard them from abuse, rape, kidnapping and forced marriage. For those who are in dangerous situations, provide for them the way of escape. Get them to safety and draw them into Your arms of love. For Muslim single men, please give them courage to break out of the mold of religion, so they will seek You with all their hearts and find You, even at the risk of persecution or death. Guard their minds and hearts from pornography and other influences, and bring to them a wife who will seek You with all her heart, so they can find You together. For Muslim couples, we ask You, Lord, to bind them together in a deep hunger for You, so they will seek out Your Truth and choose Jesus as Savior together, raising a family up in Your love, and shining Your light into the darkness all around them. For Muslim wives trapped in abusive marriages, please protect them, heal them, present to them Your Good News in a way they can easily understand, and save them. Provide the way for their escape, and draw their husbands to repentance and salvation. Make Christian couples in Muslim communities so full of light, love, and peace that many lost around them will turn to You and be saved.
Dinner and a Prayer: Ask God to lay on your heart a single He wants you to pray for. Cook their favorite food, invite them over for dinner this night and have a special prayer time for them. Or pick a couple you know that could use encouragement, or that you want to share the Good News with.
