30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening
Bible Reading: Matthew 21:15-16
Dear Father, please shield every child all across this world from the enemy’s plots against them. Even now, he’s telling them lies that are opposite to what You say, seeking to distract them from Your purposes and bind them to his. Expose every lie with Your truth, and give them courage to cling to You and remain pure. Hide their eyes from evil and block their ears from the voices that seek to drown out Yours. Keep them from pornography and every form of sexual, physical, emotional and spiritual abuse. Rise up as their Champion, and fight for them. Equip them with the armor of God, training them to stand strong in Your mighty power. Ephesians 6:10-18. Awaken them to You, O God, and shape them into a mighty army to crush the enemy and defeat the darkness, as they worship You and shine Your light.
Watch over every child at home, in the playgrounds, when they’re alone, and while others are with them. Provide for all their needs and keep them from any harm. Speak to them; let them feel Your presence and hear Your voice. Guard their dreams, filling them with Your messages of love, fighting for them against the enemy, and drawing them to Yourself.
In so many countries, children are forced into cults, gangs, violence, sexual and other unwholesome acts before they’re ever old enough to have a choice. Some grow up with no trace of love at all in their lives. Others are cut off from life even before they are born. Father, save the children. You created each one for Your special purposes. Realize those purposes in each of their lives.
Watch over the orphans and the homeless. Feed the hungry. Heal every broken heart. Step in and be Father to every child, loving them with Your perfect love and paving the way for their salvation. Draw them and their parents into loving churches with sound doctrine, where Your Gospel is clearly preached, and set them free from their strongholds to worship You alone as God.
Bring Christian families filled with peace and joy into children’s lives to show them what true love looks like. Raise up a generation set apart as holy unto You, passionate, on fire for You, moving in the power of Your Spirit, and spreading Your truth to the nations and to every generation. Teach them how to pray, and do powerful things each time they do. Heal the sick. Make the lame walk, the deaf hear, and the blind see. Build their faith so strong nothing will tear it down.
Yes, O God, awaken the children to You. Raise them up out of the pieces of their culture that are opposite to Yours, and teach them to follow Christ’s example, leading out in Kingdom Culture and making Your ways the new way everyone wants to go.

Father to the fatherless, please make a way for every child in Muslim families or communities to hear Your Good News and be saved. Step in so close to children and their parents that they see You, hear You, and place their faith in You. Show Yourself strong on their behalf and protect them from harm in such ways that they know it is You, and the memories of You coming to their rescue are stronger than their memories of tragedy, abuse and heartache. O Father, in nations like Yemen and Sudan, so many children have been kidnapped and forced into the military, killing lives before they’ve had time to live their own. Please heal their hearts and minds and provide for them the way of escape, straight into Your arms. In so many Muslim nations, war and violence have separated families and made orphans of thousands. Father, please, save them from such tragedy. Place them in loving homes, or bring those separated families back together. Father, so many girls face sexual abuse and rape. Some are sold to be wives to older men. Heal their hearts, Lord, protect them, provide a way of escape, and give them peace. Raise up valiant young people in Muslim communities all throughout the world who will choose You as Savior and brave persecution with Your words upon their lips like fire, and with Your angels showing up visibly before them, such that all who seek to harm them will see You, drop their weapons, fall to their knees, and choose You as King. In Your name. Amen.
