30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening
Bible Reading: Matthew 13:1-23
Lord, please appoint persons of peace (Luke 10:5-6) in every sphere of influence who will welcome Your Truth and open the way for millions to know You. Place a hunger for You so intense in influencers’ hearts that they will seek You until they find You and share Your truth openly. Protect their jobs and give them favor with all who know them. Do such great and miraculous things in their lives that they cannot help speaking about Your greatness and love. Topple every lie with Your truth. Remove every barrier that has kept the lost from recognizing You are the One they’ve been longing for, and save them, Lord. Make their hearts fertile, so when Christian influencers sow Your Gospel seeds, roots will grow deep and salvation will spring up from the ground.
Use Christians in education, media, film industry, politics, law, gaming, the arts, science, ministry and all realms of influence to spread widely the Good News of Your love. When the enemy seeks to slander or destroy Your appointed persons of peace, frustrate his plans, turn the destruction around to fall on his head instead, save those who once served him to now serve Jesus, and raise those who follow Your purposes to even higher places of influence.
Father, we ask You to replace false teachers in schools and universities with Your servants who will love the students and help them not only excel in education but find You. Expose lies and evil agendas so obviously that students and educational influencers who once agreed with the enemy will now turn full swing around to surrender to Your agendas instead. Raise up Christian teachers and student leaders with integrity who will stand strong against persecution, speak the truth, and gain such favor and following that schools and universities will be forced to abandon enemy causes and focus on true and excellent education instead.
Bring the downfall of every influencer in media who has stifled truth and propagated lies. Raise up in their stead those with integrity who report facts and true stories, bring You glory, and move whole nations to do what is right and good. Meet famous actors, writers, film producers, musicians, millionaires, tycoons, judges, lawyers, politicians and others with great influence in such powerful ways they lay down all that they’ve been living for and live for You instead. Set them free from their strongholds, transforming them in such powerful, visible ways millions will take note and be drawn to You. In all these influencers’ lives, Lord, make Your love, grace, peace and joy so evident that no one can deny You alone are God.
Father, please anoint preachers, disciplers, worshippers, song writers, evangelists, missionaries, youth leaders, prayer warriors, counselors, parents and all Christian influencers with Your Spirit’s empowering in every situation to shine Your light in every dark corner and draw people to You. Set them free from their strongholds so dramatically they will help others to freedom, as well. Give them courage to break molds of culture, religion, legalism and tradition in order to follow Your example, Jesus, leading out in Kingdom Culture and doing all things in love. Place in their hands the Bible studies and other materials they need to bring about oneness in Your body, both with You as the Head and with all members. Awaken every influencer to Your love, O Lord, and use them to awaken the nations to Christ.

Parallel Prayer: Our 30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening coincides with Ramadan. April 2-May 1, Muslims throughout the world are fasting and seeking God right now. Let’s pray they find Him!
Lord, we ask You today for imams, Muslim heads of communities, writers, teachers, businessmen, terrorists, military leaders and others who are in positions of influence in our country and all throughout the world. Give them a hunger for You that pushes them to lay down their agendas and run after Yours instead. As they seek You during Ramadan and lead others to seek You, as well, meet them in powerful, miraculous ways. When imams reach for the Koran to read it before those who pray, place a Bible in their hands instead. You’ve done it before, Lord. Do it again. Meet them in their dreams. Show up in their rooms at night, filling the place with the glory of Your presence. Perform such miracles, making Your Gospel message so clear that they will not be able to deny the truth of Christ, and must surrender to You. When they choose You as their Savior, boldly pour forth Your Spirit through them in such powerful ways all around them will be drawn to You and saved — whole families, communities, and even Muslim nations. Be a Shield around these new converts and empower them to stand strong in the face of opposition and speak with such authority and with signs and wonders by Your hand that those who oppose them will drop their weapons and choose You as Lord.
Dinner and a Prayer: Get your kids to ask their teachers, coaches, youth leader, or other influencers in their life what their favorite foods are, and then serve some of those at dinner. This is a special way for them to share that they’ll be praying for them, and to ask them for prayer requests, which can be of great encouragement and influence to both Christian and non-Christian influencers.
