30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening
Bible Reading: Romans 13:1-7
Father, we ask You, please, in our own nation and all throughout the world, to suppress wrong and bring forth right. Fight on behalf of the peoples for freedom, for trustworthy law enforcement, for laws that protect the people rather than defeat them. Set up systems of government with laws in place that can be used by You to bring blessings to the citizens and help them do what is right; laws that will eliminate corruption, provide full disclosure, and sustain the balance of power on every level of government.
In every country, raise up men and women from all walks of life with a passion to make a positive difference in society, who will follow Your lead to step into places of influence penetrating systems of government regarding agriculture, commerce and trade, defense, education, energy, health and welfare, security, foreign affairs, rural and urban development, labor, transportation, economy, law and law enforcement, national intelligence, science and technology, and every aspect which affects the well-being of that country and the citizens and foreigners within it.
We pray for the salvation of those currently in such positions of influence. Lord, please tear down every wall each one has put up against the knowledge of You. Wherever government workers and leaders have been used by the enemy to foment evil, backfire those schemes to bring about either their repentance and salvation or their downfall. If the latter, raise up those in their place who will punish evil and bring forth good. We ask You to place within every person in government service a deep hunger for You so strong they will talk to You throughout the day, cry out to You when they don’t know what to do, and surrender to You when You show them the way and pull them through.
Become every government’s biggest asset, so that those who follow Your ways succeed in all they do, and those who go against You crumble like dust.
Fight for every human, Lord, for freedom of speech, freedom of worship, freedom from want and freedom from fear. Set leaders in place who will open the way for every person to know You and openly serve You. Bring forth a series of miracles, signs and wonders, healings and divine interventions that will turn every head in government and all those in service under their direction to look to You and acknowledge not only Your existence, but Your Sovereignty.
Set up Your throne in every country, province, state, city, and heart. Fill the whole earth with Your glory as the waters cover the sea. Don’t allow the enemy to win in any coup or destructive scheme, but provide abundantly to feed the hungry, revive the weary, confine and restrain dangerous criminals, rescue the innocent, heal the hurting, bring peace where there is war, and draw all peoples to You. We ask You, O God, for a Global Awakening that spreads into every aspect of government life, touching every heart and catching them up into a movement of fear of the Lord and fervent service to God Almighty.

Parallel Prayer: Our 30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening coincides with Ramadan. April 2-May 1, Muslims throughout the world are fasting and seeking God right now. Let’s pray they find Him!
Father God, today we pray for Muslims in government both in our own country and all throughout the world. Give them a hunger for You so fierce they seek You with all their heart and find You. Meet them in their dreams, talk to them throughout the day, guide their decisions to be Yours. Wherever evil is planned, stop it in its tracks, Lord, and bring forth what is right and good and blesses the people. We pray this especially for Muslim terrorist regimes in countries like Afghanistan, where people live in fear and oppression. Remove from office every servant of evil and raise up in their place those who will open the way for Truth, Love, and Peace to reign and for Your Gospel to be heard by every heart. Shake up evil governments, Lord. March in with Your armies of Light and set the people free to know You.
