30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening
Bible Reading: Romans 12
Lord, so many in North America yet slumber in darkness. Awaken every heart with Your love. March in with Your angel armies of Light and invade every dark corner with Your felt presence. Show us Your glory, so those who have blocked You out with the noise of pride and lies will suddenly take notice. Perform signs and miracles and wonders and healings with a demonstration of Love they can’t deny. Meet them in their dreams. Step into their workplaces, filling them with talk of great works You have done. Bring Christians across their path who exude love, joy and peace so powerfully, mockers and accusers are silenced and anyone who seeks to attack a Christian feels foolish. Wherever the enemy has built walls against You, turn it all upside down now, Lord, so walls block Satan out instead. Demolish lies with the absoluteness of Your truth. Blind the darkness with Your searing light. Silence accusations against Christians with a clear demonstration of humility, love, forgiveness and grace; and bring to light evidence to convict those who lie and do evil. Give every evil-doer such a profound encounter with You, they are completely undone. Bring them to their knees in repentance and surrender to Your love, and then raise them up to flood their places of influence with Your Gospel and clear invitations for others to be set free by Your grace, as well. Chase out fear with faith and love. Bring hope to the hopeless, faith to the anxious. Overtake depression with unending joy in You. Set the prisoners free from every stronghold, and then use them to set others free. To the youth the enemy has sought so fervently to indoctrinate with his agendas, grant them courage and anointing by Your Spirit to rebel against those agendas. Even today, give them such powerful encounters with You they will trample enemy agendas and lies with Truth and Love, rising up from out of the traps set for them to step into salvation through Christ and the glorious purposes You created them for. Wherever a life turns around to follow Your paths rather than the enemy’s, give that follower of Christ favor with everyone around him. Open the door for true lovers of Christ to flood Hollywood, social media, the air waves, music halls, leadership, government, the news, schools, universities, high tech companies, industry, every workplace, every sphere of influence, every home, every heart, and every area of society with the transformational power of Your love and grace. Wherever a true believer walks, flood that place with Your felt presence, so others take notice, drop what they’re doing, and obey Your call to “Come, follow Me.” Provide such clear freedom from pornography and other addictions through the transformational power of Your love that prisoners without hope will now shake off their chains and run into Your arms of grace. Raise up an army of prayer warriors, evangelists, pastors, counselors, leaders and passionate followers of Christ who will share Your Word widely and rescue those who are perishing. Mend breaches in churches, marriages, and families with oneness in You and with each other. Wherever the enemy has pummeled Christian families with infirmity, busyness, debt, dissension and darkness, crush his every plan now, O God. When they cry out to You, answer so miraculously, they will announce that story far and wide, until all have heard and are drawn to You. Allow the prodigals and evil-doers no more excuses. Today, rescue every lost sheep and bring them into Your fold, O Good Shepherd. And use us in any way You choose. Awaken our hearts, anoint us with Your Word, set us free from whatever has held us back, and flow through us to draw many to You.

Parallel Prayer: Our 30 Days of Prayer for Global Awakening coincides with Ramadan. April 2-May 1, Muslims throughout the world are fasting and seeking God right now. Let’s pray Muslims in North America find Him today!
Lord, today, as Muslims all across North America fast and pray, meet them in powerful ways. Wherever they have harmed or abused wives, children or others, convict them, O God. Wherever they have plotted evil or cheated, remind them that this is not what You are about. Give them courage to repent. And show them Your glory. Make a way for every Muslim to hear Your Good News in such a way that it pierces them to the core and they choose You as Savior. For women who are trapped in abusive marriages, provide them a way out. Quicken the hearts of Muslim men who want what is best for their families to seek You and find the God of Love, then share Your love with their families and whole communities. Meet every Muslim in North America in dreams and visions, through loving Christians You bring across their path, on the internet, and even as they pass by churches. Draw them into Your truth. Tear down every wall that stands in the way of them choosing You, Jesus, as Savior, and awaken them to the abundant life in You they were created for. In Your name. Amen.
Dinner and a Prayer: If you want to deepen your family’s prayer adventure, search the internet to choose recipes from the US, Canada and Greenland. You can also have your children research these countries to find barriers to the Gospel, and then share those together with the family for prayer. Menu suggestions: Fried Chicken and mashed potatoes (US), Suaasat (Greenland, you can substitute venison, lamb or beef for the reindeer or seal meat), Canadian Salmon in a Maple Syrup Marinade
