Lord, please set our children free from fear and demonic oppression. Whenever the enemy gives them a nightmare, invade that dream in visible, powerful ways and rescue them. Whenever they begin to lean on something or someone other than You, call them back. Remind them of the love, peace and joy only found in You, so that if they turn to the side to chase something else, they will see only emptiness there and turn back around to run after You instead. Heal our children from their heart wounds and traumatic experiences. Speak truth into their inmost place to conquer every lie. Give them courage to say no to the temptations the enemy throws at them and the people he uses to do it. Give us wisdom as parents to know how to handle each situation so we can help our children grow up to love the Lord with all their hearts and remain pure for the godly mate He is preparing for them. So many youth are easily led astray, Lord, and even those growing up in Christian homes are choosing to walk away from You. Please, Father, call them back. Pursue them. Get up in their face. Show them Your grace. Pull out from under them every argument they stand on that is not Truth, until they fall into Your arms in surrender to Love. Give every child in this nation and world, every teen, single or youth, such a hunger for You, they will quickly forsake the things others uselessly run after, and run after You with all their hearts instead. Place together godly couples who will raise godly families and fight for the things that matter, pointing the way for generations to come, so the whole world will know You alone are God. Awaken our youth to You, O God. Raise up a holy generation of warriors for Your kingdom, and use us as parents and influencers to join with You in guiding our children into their God-given purposes.
