As tension rises in Eastern Europe and several NATO countries have announced where and how they will position to defend Allies against Russian aggression, let’s pray for that region and for those making decisions….
Lord, we ask for divine wisdom for every leader making decisions now. Guide their thoughts and actions. Show them what is right. Meet them in their dreams, speak to them throughout the day, surround them with wise counsel, and give them courage to lay down man’s agendas to follow what You are leading to do. We pray for Your protection over the innocent and a speedy backdown of those bent on oppression and evil. For Your angel armies to step in to defend those in danger and point all eyes to You. Even in the midst of potential war, give every person courage to fight for what matters most, not for power or aggression or political gain, but for life, hope, salvation and love. Touch every heart that is afraid, and turn it to You. As they cry out to You, answer them, O God, and save them. Give them courage to lay all their fears in Your hands and trust in You, no matter the outcome. For You have promised that in this world we will indeed have trouble, but You have overcome the world. John 16:33. You are our Resting Place, our Peace, even when war surrounds us. Lord, we ask You now for a Great Awakening in Eastern Europe. Touch every heart bound up by darkness, and set it free to to surrender to the One who is Light. John 8:12.
