With more than 164 dead and thousands injured in violent protests against the government last week, let’s continue praying for the people of Kazakhstan.
Lord, as troops fill the streets and the future is uncertain, please awaken a hunger for true Peace in every heart. You created the peoples of Kazakhstan unique for Your purposes, and yet still more than 70% of their population is unreached. How long, O Lord, must they continue in darkness without Your light? Come, O God, please, to them now. Invade their country, not with human troops to force a temporary earthly peace, but with Your angel armies of Light. Crush the true enemy, Satan, who has sought to keep them hopeless and cut off from true freedom. They need You, Lord. Please, don’t let even one more person die without knowing about Your love and grace and the freedom that is found in a personal relationship with Christ. Open the way for Your Gospel to go into every corner of Kazakhstan, penetrating the more than 20 unreached people groups that still have no Christian among them and into the places where the church is persecuted and Christians are hidden. Make a way for the Bible to be translated into every language and Your people to blast holes in the darkness with their prayers of light. Bring Christians into the paths of those who hunger for You, and empower them to preach Your Good News boldly and in Your Spirit, with a demonstration of Your goodness, love, and signs and wonders by Your hand. If these are the last days, O God, then do not leave the people of Kazakhstan behind, but grab them up in Your hands and carry them to a place where they can finally have a chance to truly know You. Bring into power leaders and authorities who will open the doors for Your Good News to be freely preached all throughout the land. Open the eyes of the blind so they will see You as You truly are. Open their ears so they will hear of Your love and be saved. Make a way where there seems to be no way for Your Kingdom to reign in Kazakhstan. Awaken every heart to You, O God. For no earthly government or fuel price can fill the emptiness in their hearts. Only You can give them the abundant life they seek. John 10:10.
