We have a Sovereign One who holds our future in His hands. It’s not the president of a nation or any other governing party, whether evil or good. It’s the God Who loves us. Nothing happens except that the Sovereign One allows it. And if He allows it, then no matter what evil plans our enemy has, Lord God Almighty has much more in store, and it is good. Because HE is good. We may not be able to see yet all the many ways He will work evil out for good (Romans 8:28), but we do know this:
No matter how many other good things He is doing, He is ALWAYS drawing us closer to Himself.
So, this year, let’s make our theme Surrender. Because when we hand all our hopes, dreams, fears, failures, worries, anger, thoughts, opinions, etc., over to the Lord and ask Him what HE sees and is doing, then He floods us with His peace, and empowers us to join Him. Philippians 4:7.
Don’t let this be a year of anger and fear, but of peace, and partnering with the Lord to shine His love in the darkness.
Surrender 2022 over into the hands of the One Who knows where He’s taking us.
