Missing Girls Recovered

Praise God for the recent recovery of five missing teenage girls. Let’s pray for their healing and salvation, and also for the 30 sex offenders who were arrested in the area of New Orleans, La., as a result of “Operation Boo Dat.”

Lord, thank You for rescuing these lost young women. Please heal their minds and hearts. Provide for them the counseling and help they need, and bring loving Christians into their path to share with them Your Good News and love them into Your arms. Give them a longing for the more they were created for and draw them to Yourself so intentionally they won’t be able to resist. Set them free from the demons that have held them fast. Replace hopelessness with faith; fear and anxiety with Your love; and rejection with acceptance as daughters of the King. Show them what You see when You look at them, how much You love them and long for them to know You. Meet them in their dreams and wash away the pain of memories with the healing flood of Your Living Water. Place Bibles in their hands and give them a hunger to read. Knock down every lie with Your Truth. Place them in churches under the nurturing care of Christians who will help them onto Your paths. And set them free, O God, to be all You created them to be.

For the child rapists and other sex offenders who were arrested, Father, we ask You to have mercy on them and save them. Haunt them in their dreams and talk to them all throughout the day every day. Twist their stomachs with regret for their many sins and bring them to their knees in repentance. Then deliver them, Lord, from the demons and strongholds that push them to abuse. Topple every lie and set them free with Your Truth. Show them who You truly are so they will welcome Your forgiveness with open arms and be saved. Do not relent, Lord. But pursue every offender until they step out of the darkness into Your Light.

We also ask You for Your blessings and protection over the Marshals and other officers who carried out Operation Boo Dat. Use their example to influence others throughout our nation and the world to apprehend criminals and rescue those in harm’s way. Raise up police officers, commissioners, governors, congressmen and other leaders in high places who will advocate for justice and protect the innocent, keeping dangerous criminals behind bars so they will no longer harm the innocent.

Protect our children. Turn the hearts of those bent on evil to choose surrender to You instead. Bring about a great awakening to You in our prisons, on the streets, in our homes, among our youth, in dens of evil, in our government and in every heart.
