At least three people are missing, several are injured, and more than 1000 homes and other structures have been destroyed by recent fires in the area of Superior, Colorado. Let’s pray for families in need.
Lord, thank You for the snow that has stopped the fires. Please wrap Your arms around each person and family in need right now. Let them feel Your presence and hear Your voice comforting them. Provide for them in such a way that they will know You are the One who did it. Whenever they cry out to You, answer them according to Your great mercy. Give them a hunger for you, a longing for Heavenly riches that will not pass away. Now that so much of what they held onto is gone, Lord, may they reach for You and find salvation. Bring Christians into their path to share Your Good News and help them rebuild their lives. We ask You, O God, to make something beautiful of this terrible tragedy. Plant new, vibrant churches filled with faith, hope and love in this area. Transform lives, heal marriages, mend families, and rebuild every life founded on Christ.
