Pray for the lost who have no way to hear, for the corners still left in utter darkness. Pray God will show them Who He is.
So many countries throughout the earth forbid the celebration of Christmas or even the mention of Jesus’ name. And many of those places have darkened all the more in recent months due to pandemic restrictions and heightened persecution. Thousands of missionaries have been forced to return home, and many of those still cannot live in the countries where God called them to serve Him.
We are one of those families who, due to a security breach, had to flee the restricted access country where God called us to be missionaries. Sharing with you our last Christmas blog from within that dark corner of the world:
Let’s band together in prayer and build a wall of prayer to block the enemy’s plans, and bring forth God’s purposes in this nation and in the world. “For we are not contending against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:1 rsv
