Two of the missionaries held hostage in Haiti have been released! Praise God!
For security reasons, we cannot give more information at this time, but let’s continue to pray for the safe release and protection of the others who are still in danger.
Lord, please protect those still held hostage and make a way for their safe return home. We continue to ask You, Lord, for the downfall of this gang that has kidnapped hundreds of innocent people. But more than that, we ask You for the salvation of every gang member. Get up in their face. Show them Your grace. Let them feel the power of Your love drawing them until they fall into Your outstretched arms and surrender to Your embrace. Open up opportunities for the missionaries to speak, sing and show love and forgiveness in such powerful ways their oppressors will repent and ask how they can be saved. For those persecutors who will not bend, incapacitate them such that the evil they intend cannot come to pass. Frustrate their every effort until they realize You are pursuing them. Meet them in their dreams, talk to them throughout the day, let them see Your angels guarding Your servants held hostage. Show them their need for Christ, and then save them, Lord. Awaken every gang member to Your grace. Awaken every hostage to faith and hope. Awaken all of Haiti to You. Place in power all across that nation those who will open the way for Your Gospel to be freely preached. Give positions of influence those who love You with all their heart. Rescue the children. Raise up a chosen generation that bears Your name. Put an end to the violence and gangs, and bless the people of Haiti, Lord. May they be a nation after Your own heart.
