Our enemy loves to get us to agree with lies he feeds us contrary to the Word of God. They feel true, but they are not who we are in Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5.
Have you ever said or thought anything like this before? “I’m such a failure,” “I’ll never have enough money,” “I’ll always be like that,” “I’m not good enough,” “I can’t ever seem to get ahead,” “No one cares,” “I can’t do this,” “I’m just spinning my wheels, going nowhere,” “Stuff like this always happens to me,” etc.
When we agree with the enemy and speak lies over ourselves, we invite the enemy to do that all the more in our lives. But when we speak truth, we break that cycle and invite God’s blessings over us.
Today at the Prayer Wall, let’s ask the Lord what we’ve been repeating over ourselves that is opposite what God says; then renounce those curses, and ask for Truth to replace them. (If you need a guide to knowing God’s voice, request one here.)
