Hosea 14, 6:1

This prayer was posted on the Prayer Wall this time last year. Still so relevant today. People of God, do not give up the fight. Let’s pray….

Lord, disconnect the enemy’s instructions from those who do his bidding. Throw the powers of darkness into confusion. And speak, Lord God Almighty. Loudly and clearly, so that all hear. Move. Turn the tables. Bind the enemy, and set free every mind, soul, and heart trapped by his lies and schemes. Show Your plans in such resplendent beauty and perfect purpose that those who have been set on choosing the evil one’s plans will now switch sides and fight for what is right. We ask for a re-establishing of Godly values for this country, for kindness and mercy, for unborn children to live, for laws to be just and right and protect the people and our freedom, for leaders who do not lie or take bribes or push their own agendas or allow violence and death for their own political gain or for other evil purposes, but who listen to You and open the doors for Love and Truth to reign in this country and in the world. We ask for safe cities, safe neighborhoods, and respect for those who keep us safe. For love across races. For true freedom, not just lies spoken by people who want the power to control and cause catastrophe. For mayors, governors, congressmen, and other top leaders to be elected who will work together for what is good and right for this country, rather than fighting against good simply because they’re jealous for control. What we ask You for, Lord, is easy for You. For all things are possible with You. Matthew 19:26. And You are patient, not wanting any to perish, but all to be saved. 2 Peter 3:9. So, save us now, Lord. Save our leaders. Save our children. Save our neighbors. This country is filled with the hurting and abused, who have in turn allowed or even caused hurt and abuse. Show the enemy’s hand, Lord, and turn all people’s hearts in shame away from evil agendas to right agendas of love, grace, truth, life, freedom, virtue, and unity. Give every person wisdom to see what is right and best, and courage to choose good over evil. To choose You, Lord, and be saved. Keep this country safe for our children, and our children’s children for all generations.
