What earthly causes have made you anxious or angry these days?
The Lord is calling us now to rise up out of our fear and hatred. And LOVE.
The issues we are fighting about are of this earth. They are temporary.
Fix your eyes on what is eternal. Hebrews 12:1-3.
When you get to Heaven, it will not matter what you thought of a certain political leader, or whether or not you got a vaccine. It will not matter if you are poor or rich, or who stole your money in-between.
Only how well you LOVED.
Lord, show us how our thoughts, words and actions have been unloving. Forgive us, please. Transform our minds and hearts. Empower us to ask forgiveness of those we’ve hurt or soured against You because of our unloving attitudes. Give us courage to rise up out of this present messy darkness and step into Your eternal purposes, fighting for what truly matters. For the lost to be saved. For the saved to walk in oneness with You. Help us love and forgive, even as You loved and forgave us.
