Lord, in the midst of the trying circumstances so many of us are facing right now, lift our eyes up to look to You. This earth is passing away. Our time here is so short. But Your salvation lasts forever and Your righteousness never fails. Help us to rise up above all the dissension and worry and pray for the things that matter most. To fix our eyes on eternal things.

Lord, we ask You for the salvation of our loved ones who don’t know You yet, for our president and leaders, for those we have met along the way, for our neighbors, our cities, our country, and beyond. Raise up Your church to love with such passion, to speak with grace and kindness, to walk in Your righteousness so visibly during such a time as this that all those around us will take notice of You in us and hunger for Your love and salvation.

All our trials and those who do wrong to us will one day pass away. But Your salvation lasts forever, and Your righteousness never fails.
