Let’s continue to pray for those facing power outages in Louisiana and other areas, those still facing fires (even new ones now) in the west, and others in our country who are anxious and grieving losses.
Lord, You are the Light of the World. In our time of darkness right now, please shine that Light, pointing every heart to You. So many have lost so much. When they cry out to You, hear them. Provide for all their needs. Comfort them in their loss. Rebuild their homes and lives, but this time in You. Make a way for Christians to step in and help by the thousands, sharing Your love and Good News to those in need. May what the enemy wants to use for great tragedy turn into an opportunity for every lost person to finally meet Love face-to-face and be saved. In the midst of great tragedy, crumble angry hearts with compassion. Hold back the hands of those who seek to steal or harm. Touch them in such deep ways, they will repent of their sin and long for You to take control of their out-of-control lives. Open up the churches, so those who seek You can find You. Place Bibles in their hands, so they can know the Truth that sets them free. Wherever there have been walls against You, tear them down, Lord, and flood every heart with Your love and grace. We ask You, Lord, for a Great Awakening in every heart.
