Open the eyes of the blind. Set the captives free. Bring home the prodigals. And turn the nation to Me.
There are those who think they know what I’m about, but they have never truly tasted of the sweet Living Waters of My love, flowing over them and into them, quenching their thirst, reviving their senses, renewing their love and faith.
They have heard My name since childhood, but the father of lies has programmed them to reject My love, that I’m not what this life is about; that temporary pleasure, money, a house, a car, a wife, a dog, a career that they enjoy is; and to numb all the pain, alcohol drugs, internet, pornography — anything to make them feel something other than emptiness, loneliness, rejection, and defeat.
They have become deaf and dumb to My Truth and Love, numb to My touch. They no longer feel as they once did as a child. They feel nothing. So they follow a political leader, hoping he will save theme cannot.
I am the one they are looking for. I am the one who will open the door to all that this life is for, to Heaven poured out in mighty measures upon their lives, in vibrant colors, in passionate love, in intimacy that takes their breath away — Oneness wrapped all around them holding them tightly, molding them to the shape of something beautiful, useful, needed, PERFECT. Forgiven. Redeemed. Whole. Worthy of love.
Come to Me now, My people, My lost sheep. Be found. Be open. Be whole. Be free. Be Mine.
I am Awakening a hunger within you even now, not for that food you keep eating and wish you hadn’t. No, for real food, spiritual food that lasts. The milk and honey of My love, the meat of My Word and obedience to Me. For only as you are found in My paths are you found. Only when you walk the narrow road that leads to Life will you truly live.
I am not some goofy grandfather in the sky for you to joke about or curse by. I am your Creator. I formed you and I know you by name, for I formed you to be Mine, to live out the beautiful, meaningful purposes I created you for — the first of which is to love Me with all your heart, and the second to love that neighbor — that all-too-often “unlovely” one you complain about — as yourself.
For this is love, not that you know what you’re doing or how your way is best, but that you love as I first loved you. For no greater love is there than this: that a man lay down his life for a friend. I am that Man, and you, My beloved neighbor, are that friend.
Come to Me and be healed. Come to Me and be completed. Come to Me and be free. Come to Me, and never thirst again. For the waters of my rich love will flow through you in increasing measures, as you surrender your heart to Me.
And I will flow out of you to touch the nations, to draw them into the waters of that love, to flow across the land of their hearts, until all eyes fix on Me, and I am worshiped to the ends of the Earth.
