The last post about “wee” evils was a bit long, so I didn’t get to tell you the whole story, but… While I was in the middle of cleansing the oats of evil weevils, a moth began beating itself agains the glass window next to me, trying to get out. I opened the window, but he went the opposite way, and trapped himself between the two panes, beating himself up all the more with even greater frustration at not being able to get anywhere.
I patiently opened the window and closed it several times until he finally could see how to get out of the trap he’d gotten himself into. But even with the window standing wide open before him, he continued to beat himself against the glass. It wasn’t until I shooed him out, showing him the way, that he finally found freedom.
In what ways are you perpetuating your own captivity, when God has set before you already the way to freedom? Ask Him. Then fly that way, and be free!
