Lord, help us truly engage with You in Your Word, to remember that when we open the pages, we are looking into Your eyes, coming face to face with You, for You are the Word. John 1:1, 14. Remind us to reverently listen to Your voice. As we read, plant Your truth deep in us, and change us, Lord. If Your Word isn’t changing us, then it’s only just reading. We need the touch of the Living God to truly be transformed.
