We must ready our hearts for what is to come. The Lord has a very specific role for you to play. Do you know what that is yet? Ask Him.
What is He saying? Can you hear Him?
These conversations must go both ways. Not only do we pray for the constant needs before us, but we also partner with Him in the answers.
Is there something God’s been asking you to do you haven’t done yet? Is there something God asked you to stop you haven’t stopped yet? What’s keeping you from obedience?
God’s Word is still alive and He is still speaking through it. If you feel you have trouble hearing His voice throughout the day, start there. With the Word of God. When you open up the pages, you are looking into His eyes. For He is the Word. John 1:1, 14; Revelation 19:13.
Lord, open our ears to hear Your voice. Don’t let us pull back or get so busy we forget to listen for Your leading throughout the day. Guide us every moment. Because every moment counts right now. Position us to pour out Your love on those around us. So many are getting all the more desperate by the moment. Bring the hungry, the hurting, the anxious, the afraid, and yes, even the proud, to us, O Lord, at just the right moment when You have opened their minds and hearts to hear what You have to say. Then speak through us, clearly and lovingly, in a way they can easily understand. Press Your words deep into their hearts. Knock down the lies with Your truth. And set them free, Lord. Bring about a Great Awakening in this nation and throughout the world such as never seen before, and draw all peoples to You.
