If you’re not seeing the results in prayer you want, remember God’s heart is oneness with Him; so lay down all your wants, surrender to the Lord, look for what He’s doing and join Him there. He will carry you through, and do more in this trail than you ever imagined.
Sometimes, we pray so fervently for what we want, God actually gives it to us, even though He had a better plan. 1 Samuel 8.
We weren’t created for everything go our way here on earth. But for oneness with Christ. In this world you will have trouble. It is a promise. John 16:33. And if you love Jesus, you will most certainly be persecuted in some way. 2 Timothy 3:11.
But your Creator is about much higher things than just your earthly comfort or freedom. Although He does want to bless you, the exciting adventure in prayer happens when we seek God’s heart on a matter, pray in His leading, obey His instructions, and watch the miracles unfold.
