This past month of fasting has been intense for me. Has it been for you? Praying for 6 billion lost people, especially those with no portion of Scripture at all in their language, has felt overwhelming. In still so many countries throughout the world, Christians are persecuted and seekers are beaten, even killed, just for asking about Jesus.
That reality is all the fiercer for our family, because we raised our children in one of those countries where Christians are persecuted; shared with whole villages who had never heard God’s name, much less Jesus’; and translated books of the Bible into an unreached language.
Even since this Prayer Wall started last year, God has urged those in closed countries to reach out through social media and find Christians willing to share the Good News so they can be saved. If they found your profile, would they know you’re a Christian? If they read your posts would they find Christ?
God didn’t say the task would be easy. His very death on the cross proves the world will be against us if we follow in His footsteps. But He did promise to be with us. Matthew 28:19-20.
Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Let us not grow weary, either in prayer or in sharing Christ’s love.
Lord, please use us for Your glory. Speak through us and love through us so others will be drawn to Your light in us and be saved.
