Due to current world events, let’s pray for Palestine today.
Lord, please guard every heart and soften it to You. Give Palestinians such a hunger for You they will search for You with all their hearts and find You are the Home they’ve been longing for all along. Show Yourself in powerful ways, with dreams, visions and miracles. Speak to them. Show up in their midst. Flood their homes and hiding places with Your felt presence. Let them see Your angel armies, feel Your touch, hear Your voice, and tremble knowing Your heart of love in the midst of their conflict and hatred. Protect the innocent. Watch over the children. Heal the hurting. Feed the hungry. Provide safety for those in danger. Block the plans of those who seek to do harm. And do it all in such a way they will know it was You, with such a clear presentation of Your Gospel they will turn from hatred and violence and give in to Your forgiveness and grace. Give those in leadership wisdom. Guide their decisions and bring forth Your purposes. Open the way for every person to hear Your Good News. Bring peace to this region. Build Your temple in every heart. Don’t allow even one more person to die without knowing who Your Son is and why He died in this place, that He died in their place so they could live. Satan has sought to kill, steal and destroy but, Jesus, You came to give abundant life. Streams of Living Water in the desert. Hope to the weary. Strength to the weak. Comfort to the broken-hearted. Life to those facing death. Help every Palestinian find You now, Lord. Lead them to Christians on the internet and in their midst who will share Your Good News in a way they can easily understand. When their religious leaders reach for the Quran, hand them the Bible, and open it to just the passage those listening need to hear. Give every person such a powerful encounter with Christ they will fall to their knees and worship You as their Savior and God. Raise up those who will courageously choose Truth and lead others into Your arms, like a mighty army of love, light and peace. Awaken every heart to You, O God, today.
