Lord, as we remember Your death and sacrifice, we ask You to please protect Christian leaders throughout the world who have been arrested and imprisoned for their faith. We ask You for their release. Perform miracles and signs and wonders to open up the way for them to walk out unharmed. And grow Your church, Lord, in every country where government and other oppression has restricted believers from meeting together or sharing their faith. Shine Your love so brightly through Your faithful ones, that everyone around them, even those in power over them, will long for You and turn from the darkness to the Light. In Your name. Amen.
