Is there someone you love dearly, a friend, neighbor, or family member, who doesn’t know the Lord yet? Ask Jesus for a verse or a word He wants to speak over them through your prayers. Then write that in the comments.
Lord, no matter how hard things are that all of us are facing right now, nothing is as tragic as a life spent without You. We lift up to You now those we know and love who don’t yet know You. They’re looking for meaning and importance in temporal things — acceptance, success, riches, getting people to see and do things their way…. But all of that is of this earth and will soon pass away. Only faith, hope, and love remain. And the greatest of these is Love. We are nothing, Lord, until we release ourselves in surrender to You. Only when we allow the One Who is Love to save us, forgive us, complete us, guide us, and LOVE us, will we be able to finally step out in the purpose we were created for — to know You, love You, and bring You glory by drawing others into Your great love. Please tear down every barrier that keeps our lost loved ones (insert name) from finding You and choosing You as Savior and Lord. Lift the veil from their eyes so they can see Your arms open wide, and fall into Your grace at last, fall in love with the One who is Love.
