Have you been appalled at the ridiculous lies these days? And even more so at how many people are believing them?
What a graphic picture of how the devil works. He sends out his feelers, looking for where we are weak. Then starts with a few lies, gently pushing boundaries here and there, seeing what we will believe and what he can get away with. The more he’s allowed, the bolder he gets, until suddenly, we’ve fallen to his schemes, subject to a bullying liar who kills, steals, and destroys. Oh, and by the way, while he was at it, he was also indoctrinating our children.
Sound familiar? Listen up, people of God. Satan does not play fair. The father of lies is after our families, our marriages, our faith, and every area of our lives. John 8:42-47, 10:10. He lies to you that your sin is okay, that you can’t help it, that you’ll never be free, that his lies are indeed truth, and that this sin is just who you are.
NO! Sin is NOT who you are! Christ gave His own life for your freedom. Don’t let evil gain control again. Galatians 5. Surrender to Truth, and He will set you free. John 8:31-32, 34-36.
